This phase of the works of Ausili focuses on a personal review of the topic of ex-vote and on an original reflection on the symbolism of the totem. Idea of a sculpture that, in the appeal to primitive thought, and to propose "magic" figures, has its roots in the ancient conception of sculpture as "propitiatory art".

The rocky nature of the marble, will be kept deliberately and perforated by triangles, from ladders, and more generally by symbols, which become three-dimensional ideograms, which will make a sense of interiority with these stones, a familiarity that will fluctuate between our unknown origins and our hypothetical points of arrival. In a moving commuter ideally ranging from the old statues of Lunigiana or Neolithic menhirs,  the cuts by Lucio Fontana or the stones of the holy Japan’s places in a global cultural map and timeless, where all cultures together are becoming our cultural ideal.
